HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAITH 

Gospel - Matthew 13:1-9

Jesus proposed another parable to the crowds, saying:
"The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a man
who sowed good seed in his field. 
While everyone was asleep his enemy came
and sowed weeds all through the wheat, and then went off. 
When the crop grew and bore fruit, the weeds appeared as well. 
The slaves of the householder came to him and said,
'Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? 
Where have the weeds come from?'
He answered, 'An enemy has done this.'
His slaves said to him, 'Do you want us to go and pull them up?'
He replied, 'No, if you pull up the weeds
you might uproot the wheat along with them. 
Let them grow together until harvest;
then at harvest time I will say to the harvesters,
"First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles for burning;
but gather the wheat into my barn."'

  • What good seed has God planted in my life, and where can I already see it beginning to grow and bear fruit?

  • What “weeds” are growing alongside the good in my heart, and am I allowing God to heal and separate them in His time rather than reacting with fear or impatience?

  • Where is Jesus inviting me to trust that He remains Lord of the field, even when I do not understand why He permits the wheat and the weeds to grow together?

EL CAMINO DE LA FE

Evangelio - Mateo 10:37-42

En aquel tiempo, Jesús propuso esta otra parábola a la muchedumbre: "El Reino de los cielos se parece a un hombre que sembró buena semilla en su campo; pero mientras los trabajadores dormían, llegó un enemigo del dueño, sembró cizaña entre el trigo y se marchó. Cuando crecieron las plantas y se empezaba a formar la espiga, apareció también la cizaña.

Entonces los trabajadores fueron a decirle al amo: 'Señor, ¿qué no sembraste buena semilla en tu campo? ¿De dónde, pues, salió esta cizaña?' El amo les respondió: 'De seguro lo hizo un enemigo mío'. Ellos le dijeron: '¿Quieres que vayamos a arrancarla?' Pero él les contestó: 'No. No sea que al arrancar la cizaña, arranquen también el trigo. Dejen que crezcan juntos hasta el tiempo de la cosecha y, cuando llegue la cosecha, diré a los segadores: Arranquen primero la cizaña y átenla en gavillas para quemarla; y luego almacenen el trigo en mi granero' ".

  • ¿Qué buena semilla ha plantado Dios en mi vida, y dónde puedo verla ya comenzando a crecer y dar fruto?

  • ¿Qué “maleza” está creciendo junto al bien en mi corazón, y estoy permitiendo que Dios la sane y la separe a su debido tiempo, en lugar de reaccionar con miedo o impaciencia?

  • ¿En qué área de mi vida me invita Jesús a confiar en que Él sigue siendo el Señor del campo, incluso cuando no comprendo por qué permite que el trigo y la maleza crezcan juntos?
