Tuition and Fees for 2007-2008

Tuition

Tuition is for the academic school year and is divided into ten (10) payments. Tuition is due on the First of each month. The first tuition payment is due in August. Days missed due to holidays and/or illness are not deductible.

Tuition not received by the 15th of each month is considered delinquent and is subject to late fee. All tuition payments and fees are to be paid in full by May 15 in order to pre-register for the following school year.

Textbook, Supplies and Other Fees

Textbooks are purchased for students in Kindergarten, First and Second Grades. Textbooks may be purchased for students in Third through the Eighth Grades; however, the usual procedure is rent the books from the school. A standard fee is charged for rental and is included in the family's account. This fee includes:

Rental of books provided by the school; audio-visual equipment and materials; computer equipment; ordinary classroom supplies; insurance coverage; library books; PE equipment; standardized testing.

All hardbound books MUST be protected with durable covers. Students will pay for any willful destruction or loss of textbooks. School bags are required for all students and must be used to carry books and materials.

All articles of clothing or personal items subject to loss should be clearly marked and permanently labeled. Expensive possessions particularly gold jewelry, are not to be worn or brought to schoo (see Uniform section for information regarding proper attire).

A registration fee secures one's place in school and is due each Spring for the upcoming year. This fee is due at the time of registration for new families.

An earthquake fee is charged and covers the cost of an earthquake kit and emergency materials. This fee is good for the length of the life of the earthquake kit (usually five years).

A small PTG fee is charged to each family.

Options for Payment of School Tuition:

A. Ten (10) Payments Tuition: monthly from August through May, on or before the 15th day of the month (payment rates are given below).

B. Three (3) Payments of Tuition: August, December and March, on or before the 15th day of the month.

C. Full payment by September 15, 2007, $100 discount if paid in full.
