School Hours
Classes for Kindergarten to Grade Eight are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. All children MUST be present on the school grounds by 8:30 a.m. each morning as all school announcements are made at that time only and classes begin promptly afterwards.
Students are NOT to be on the school grounds before 7:30 a.m., as supervision of the students is not provided at that time. Students are to leave the school grounds immediately after school unless they are participating in school sponsored activity.
Short Days and Holidays
School is dismissed at 12:30 p.m. on days when faculty meetings are held, usually the First Tuesday of the month (consult your monthly calendar). School is not in session on major holidays.
Day Care
The school provides Day Care, which is paid on a monthly basis. The fee is due the First of each month. The fee is reviewed annually and adjusted as necessary. Day Care hours are available from immediately after school until 5:55 p.m. each school day. A late fee of $10.00 is charged for every 15 minutes thereafter.

School Calendar
The school follows the traditional ten (10) month Archdiocesan calendar of 180 school days. A listing of calendar activities is presented at the time of registration.
Admission
The Pastor and the Principal are responsible for determining the selection of the pupils for the Parish Elementary School. Parents should be made aware of the enrollment policy before applying for pupil admission. No pupil shall be denied admission because of race or national origin. The parish school will abide by the non-discrimination policy of the Archdiocese.
In parish schools, the Pastor and the Principal shall determin the specific method of selecting pupils.
Acceptance into Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is based on the following:
1. First preference will be given to those Catholic students who are registered in the Parish and whose parents attend Mass and contribute to the life of the parish.
2. Students who enter Kindergarten must be five (5) years old on or before December 1 of the current school year. A pupil entering first grade must be six (6) years of age on or before December 1 of the current school year.
3. Parents must agree to actively support the philosophy and goals of the school through participation in parent service hours, the annual carnival and other school fundraisers.
4. The Parish School will strive to have Catholic Education accessible to as many students as possible. However, it may be limited in its abilities to serve the educational needs of some students.
5. Continued enrollment in the Parish School will be reviewed annually.
The Non-Traditional Family
Divorced or separated parents must file a court-certified copy of the custody section of the divorce or separation decree with the principal's office. The school will not be held responsible for failing to honor arrangements that have not been made known in writing.
Re-Registration
Re-registration of students currently enrolled in Blessed Sacrament School is based on student conduct and grades, parental support of school philosophy and programs and be timely along with the timely and accurate payment of tuition and fees. The Pastor and Principal maintain final approval.
Probation
Students who do not cooperate with the school program, either academically or behaviorally, may be placed on probation for all or part of a school term. This procedure requires close cooperation and communication among the teacher, principal, parent and student.
Retention
Students deficient in academic areas may be retained. The Principal, inconsultation with the teacher and parent makes this decision.
