Requirements for Baptisms
(For children 6 years and younger)
Requirements of parents of the child:
-- be registered members of the parish
-- an interview with one of the priests of the parish
-- complete baptismal information form
-- attend pre-baptismal instruction
Requirements of godparents
-- at least one godparent must be Catholic and have completed Initiation
-- be at least 16 years of age
-- be in good standing in the Church. If the godparent is married, they should be married in the Church.
-- attend pre-baptismal instruction
Other Information:
Baptisms celebrated in English are held on the second Sunday of the month at 3:00 p.m.
Pre-baptismal instruction is offered in English on the Friday prior to the second Sunday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the parish rectory.
